It doesn't matter because when you start one you are under the microscope by the US legal system. Which is the real reason all these server companies act like this. Because they legally cannot afford not to.

Who cares about the Americans? They’re an empire in its death throes.

Why not use a host based in Russia, Vietnam, etc.

Usually because they don't run well, or the interface isn't in English, or the prices aren't good, or they can't sustain the attacks we see regularly. If we can balance all those things and find someone who actually offers that, I have no problem moving to another country.
