Idk if you would consider me one of those "people who say we need to stop with the anti-semitism" but I'd think antisemitic content is perfectly fine so long as it 1. doesn't turn illegal (e.g. calls for violence) 2. respects the communities on other subsaidits. There are a lot of radical feminists on this site, for example, but you'd barely notice if you're not subscribed to their subsaidits because they mostly stick to those.

For a while there damn near every other post on all was “OH HAI I’M A REFUGEE FROM GC LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT MY LESBIANISM”

I still expect a big shitshow to come from the waves of new users expecting censorship for thing that make them sad. The current state of /all shows this is beginning. Can we censor people who call for censorship?

Fair enough, though that was only a temporary thing due to the mass-banning of radical feminist and LGB subreddits. Antisemitism and jewish conspiracy theories will not level off the way such introductions have.

That's possible, though I hope there won't. It will be important for both sides to understand that individual subsaidits should have the right to censor things if they want to, while respecting others' right to create subsaidits where they post things they might find offensive.

I fully agree with one exception - I think the anti-semitic shit will start to die down as well once these folks get it out of their systems. My elementary understanding of human psychology leads me to think if one has been told they cannot talk about a subject and then then later find a place where they can, most folks tend to go a touch overboard at first.

Frankly, it'll never get out of our systems until the Jews lose their power over us.

I am meaning nothing genocidal of course, war and mass killings are unethical and have such extremely high costs.
