I know this site is for free speech and all but please cut the antisemitism and conspiracy theory bs from the front page. It's not a good look and is going to drive people away from trying the site.

How exactly do you expect an admin to do that? You want me to fake the upvote counts to diminish something? Not doing that, sorry.

Maybe we can not include some of the more.. "out there" or "distasteful" subs in /all ?

I'm a conservative, but coming on here seeing blatantly racist content is turning me off. I personally didn't leave reddits obvious extreme left wing bias to be surrounded by obvious extreme right wing bias content. But in the interest of letting those people have their place, let's keep it to those that are subscribed to their subs.

That's fair, that's basically our policy right now, except how "out there" or "distasteful" something is is judged entirely by how frequently it drags discussion down the pyramid of debate: https://saidit.net/static/PyramidDebate.jpg

I suppose I could tighten that up a bit, but then some people get angry that their free speech is being limited and fear that I am becoming the very censorship we created this place to escape, so it's always a balance.

Way better to err on the side of less censorship than more. People who really want to be free will suffer the consequences of freedom and people who want their safe echo chambers with flee back to reddit and demand this site be nuked from the internet
