Women have plenty of english words for their genitals. There's no good reason why they should be expected to learn a load of latin terms too just because middle class people like to use them to seem smart (and also priggishness). The Guardian ran a whole article by a doctor on how stupid her patient was that she didn't know what her uterus was. This doctor was so clever she never thought once that the English word "womb" might have been the one to use in England.

There's a really big problem in the preferred polite language in that most women see their genitals as one thing while medical terms divide them up into bits, much of the time illogically. In most women's minds, and in reality, there's no clear separation between the vulva and vagina so they will use one of those words to mean both. Why try to force words on women which confuse them when clarity is needed?
