Its probably less addictive orally. Smoking/vaping is fairly addictive, but much less so than drugs like heroin or meth. However, people have just as low of a success rate quitting smoking, likely because continuing to do it doesnt usually wreck your life like a hardcore drug addiction. Like you arent gonna end up homeless or in jail from a cigarette addiction. I think quitting smoking/vaping becomes more trouble than its worth for many because it just doesnt have as many consequences. But either way, OP is likely better off spending his efforts not getting drunk during the day so he doesnt fail out of school, the nicotine is probably the least of his problems
