Nicotine is really difficult to use on-and-off like you mentioned in your previous post (quitting for a while and starting again). I'm a smoker/vaper rather than a pouch user, but this habit tends to turn into a lifestyle choice. I know plenty of people, including myself that can use alcohol or drugs intermittently, but not very many people that can use nicotine in a manner like this. Anyways, good luck with your habit management, just my two cents on nicotine

I manage to use the gums intermittently just fine. Tbh I wasn't even aware that pure nicotine causes withdrawal, I always thought that it's only addicting (or dependency forming) in the presence of the other psychoactive compounds found in cigarette smoke

Its probably less addictive orally. Smoking/vaping is fairly addictive, but much less so than drugs like heroin or meth. However, people have just as low of a success rate quitting smoking, likely because continuing to do it doesnt usually wreck your life like a hardcore drug addiction. Like you arent gonna end up homeless or in jail from a cigarette addiction. I think quitting smoking/vaping becomes more trouble than its worth for many because it just doesnt have as many consequences. But either way, OP is likely better off spending his efforts not getting drunk during the day so he doesnt fail out of school, the nicotine is probably the least of his problems

wear a rubber band on your wrist, and snap yourself hard when you need to
