I'm reminded of another girl I knew from high school. This girl was named Bianca. (AI recreation of her.) There were quite a few Hispanic/Latina girls at our high school. Not a whole lot, but more than average. One girl was from Costa Rica, but was 6'6", full figured, had GIANT breasts even relative to her 350+ pound frame, and giant nerdy coke bottle glasses. I once talked about Becca, a high school crush, before. However, her older sister (potentially a stepsister, given their nearly 12 inch height difference), was also from Costa Rica. Bianca was fluent in English though and had been in the US long enough to consider herself more American than anything.
And even though Bianca's little sister was pretty much a giant and could easily be bully fodder, Bianca was kind of a bully and "mean girl" around the school, but not in the typical way. She was a bitch for sure, but always really passive-aggressive and never outright hostile or mean. Her way of treating others badly was to look down on them and belittle them more subtly. She would pity people she looked down on, more than outright "bully" them, though the false nice façade was easy to see through. That is how she treated a lot of people; with fake niceness that was more passive-aggression than anything.
One of the people she would constantly talk shit about, was a classmate of mine, Roland. He was shorter (even shorter than me) and very scrawny, and she would refer to him as "Little Gay Boy" instead of his name, most of the time, in a sweet soft voice with her slight Costa Rican accent. And like usual, Bianca would refer to him in a faux pitying tone. Like, "Hi, Little Gay Boy. How are you, today? I am sorry your parents genetics did not bless you, Little Gay Boy. But I will be nice to you. Here's an apple, Little Gay Boy. I put it on the top of this locker for you so no one will steal it from you."
And the funny thing is, Bianca herself wasn't even that big. Sure, her sister/stepsister was like 6'6" and the second or third tallest person in the school, despite being female. But Bianca herself was only like 5'5" or 5'6" (166 cm.) She wasn't even tall enough to be talking shit towards others. But for some reason, she seemed to mock our classmate, the most. I already stated in the past how I'm short as fuck (180 cm), but Roland was even shorter than me. Like 5'6", I guess. He was the same size as Bianca, or maybe a tiny bit taller. He wasn't even the shortest boy in school, but he was probably the "smallest" as all the other shorter boys than him were way more muscular and outweighed him. So he was short (shorter than us, at least,) but also the skinniest.
None of us knew why Bianca would target Roland the most, at first. However, I suspected it was because she seriously wanted to fuck him, but couldn't admit it. Although Roland was small and scrawny, he was fairly handsome and fit. He had a nice "pretty boy" babyface and wasn't fat whatsoever (unlike a lot of us.) If he was light-skinned Hispanic, he'd probably get lots of (really short) women wanting to fuck him; he had that kind of "handsome short king" look to him. But he wasn't Hispanic.
Bianca was kinda mid to "somewhat attractive." Maybe a 6 out of 10, as far as 17 year old Costa Rican girls go. Basically like Pokimane, the YouTube/Twitch thot, but a point higher on the scale, so no more than a 7 at her absolute best, but more like a 6 on most days. Yeah, Bianca was basically a mid 2000s, cuter Pokimane. She had a decent body with mid-sized breasts and a clear face, not really fat or anything, but not that hot, either. Just "a little above average" in looks. Just enough for her to consider herself "hot" but not enough for every dude in school to want to get with her. In my personal opinion, she was pretty "mid." But she thought of herself as a 10 out of 10, probably. Which would explain her arrogant attitude and why she'd always talk down to people and be fake-nice and pity-talk them.
After one particular week after Roland's older brother got into a motorcycle crash and ended up in the hospital, he was on-edge and stressed out and really wasn't in the mood. But Bianca kept giving him shit and did the "Little Gay Boy" routine. One day, she took away his phone and held it away from him and raised her arm up, to keep it away (although like I said, she wasn't even really taller than him and they were probably the same height.) She would usually do this type of stupid shit, but this really wasn't the week for it, and I doubt she knew about Roland's brother in the hospital.
After she refused to give it back though, Roland had enough and slapped the FUCK out of Bianca. Like, as hard as a human could do to someone. You could hear the flesh-smack sound from across the hallway like a giant WHACK! Bianca fell to the ground like a rock. She was speechless and in utter shock and looked like she was about to silently cry, as her eyes teared up with her mouth wide open the whole time, as her face remained frozen in shock. She got up and ran off, presumably to go cry, as Roland took his phone back from off the ground.
Later, I went with Roland to the principal's office. She was mad at him for hitting a girl, but I defended him, saying how everyone knew Bianca was a cunt, she messes with everyone, and Roland's brother was in critical condition at the hospital, and I stressed that if the school wanted to punish him, the retaliation for them allowing such a "bullying" environment, would be catastrophic.
Keep in mind, this was the mid 2000s; the Columbine incident (the first real school -shooting in America) had only happened a few years earlier, in 1999. Schools began to implement "zero-tolerance" towards bullying, around this time. But, you know, our high school was shitty and didn't really care. But I really lit the fire under their ass how Roland couldn't be held responsible if the school had let the bullying go on for this long and how they neglected to do anything about it, and how quickly this could turn into a public PR disaster on the news if they allowed Roland to get bullied to the point of slapping Bianca and the school did nothing about it the whole time. The principal didn't want to "fuck around and find out," so gave Roland the minimum punishment she had to, one day of "in-house." In-school suspension is where you basically spend the whole class day in "school jail" and have to do homework and stuff, instead of going to class with everyone else. I agreed to do the suspension with him. It was on a Friday, as the incident happened on a Thursday. It was kind of a fun day, as we fucked around with all the four other kids being punished in there that day, as well.
What me and Roland didn't know was, on the outside, Bianca's reputation had fallen since getting slapped to the ground. Everyone was basically laughing at her now, even kids in other grades (the ones who don't know us, as the grades never interact with each other.) Even the younger kids were calling her "Bitchslap Girl." That was Bianca's new nickname. She went from calling Roland "Little Gay Boy" like a cute nickname, to "Bitchslap Girl." People also ran with the meme, treating her like a hooker that owed a pimp money. "You betta have my money by Monday, or you gettin' BITCHSLAPPED!" One girl started the local meme with that line apparently, and everyone else ran with it. It became a running gag around the school everytime people would see her outside of class. She had basically lost her entire social reputation of being the hot popular pretty girl. By Monday, when we returned back to classes, it had now been three days her reputation had been changed. The new nickname had grown even stronger over the weekend and that's when we first learned about it (it's not like we talked to each other over the weekend.)
Towards the end of the school year, Bianca came up to me and started to reveal everything now that she had been humbled. She said why she treated others how she did, and looked down on them as a way to make herself feel good and how she was really insecure with herself and even implied to have bulimia or other eating disorders. She really was the bully/Mean Girl stereotype: hurting others as a way to avoid dealing with her own issues.
It was at this point I asked her, did she want to fuck Roland, explaining why she targeted him the most. "Absolutely. 100%. Still do." She told me. In fact, she wanted him now more than ever, cause he finally showed some balls and stood up for himself. Before, it was merely physical attraction. She asked me not to tell him the reason she teased him for months on end. I contemplated about whether or not I should've told Roland that Bianca wanted to sleep with/date him or not, but I figured it was none of my business. Roland was only a casual friend, anyway. My actual three former-best friends in school, I was off speaking terms with. And I had my own stuff to worry about.
So I never told him. I never knew if he found out the truth, and as far as I remember, Bianca ended up as a stripper a year after high school. (Our school had a LOT of girls end up as sex workers, in fact. No real surprise if you were there, really.)
But yeah, that was the story of Bianca. I still remember her "Little Gay Boy" taunt in her sweet little accented voice, even almost 20 years later. I was just thinking about it today while taking a dump, and it inspired me to write this.
