Hell, as a lesbian who has never wanted kids, I don't even need XYs around if I don't want. And I do not want after decades of having to deal with their dumb, hateful, patronizing shit. You're onto something, the reason I'm not interested in having AI/robots as a regular thing in life is because they are so devoid of depth, which is pretty much the same thing with XYs, although XYs are also extremely rude, miserable creatures to be around most of the time, who seem to take joy in waiting to eventually insult me personally.
