Although I was always alone in this belief, I favored an optional death penalty for a convicted rapist (verdict by the Accuser's, i.e. rape victim's peers), whereas the rape victim is permitted to personally enact upon said convicted rapist ANY means of killing per the rape victims choice.

Release the victim's anger, which too often is turned inward to manifest as depression.

Sigh. I know people side-eye me, but, really, wouldn't that be win/win? 😂😂😂😳😳😂😂

I am convinced that people who say revenge doesn't heal victims have just never been subjected to anything that truly merits revenge.

I have never said it out loud before but I finally won a fight against my abusive mother who started the whole thing in my 20s by punching me in the head. She stands nearly 9" taller than me and is obese where I was quite thin. Yet I kicked her ass finally, not put-her-in-hospital level, but just enough as a, "You're not as tough as you think," and never looked back. It was justified, it was self-defense, and while it didn't heal everything, I had a therapist wonder how I seemed to be so far ahead of so many people who came from dysfunctional families.

I agree. We should get to torture and murder men who rape us. Society will lose another male rapist, but help heal a woman who will do more good for society than almost any man.
