While I believe freedom is an important value, it by itself shouldn't replace the loyalty people have towards their nation and their own people. In order for civilization to exist, people need to be held together somehow by some kind of common contract and I believe It's part of our nature to form groups and guilds of different kinds as well.
Language is an example of how people have a natural tendency to form groups with similar traits. You can deny how language can carry the personality of a certain group and decent societies can only be held together by some kind of authority.
People's minds have been affected in a very negative way into thinking that almost any kind of authority is bad thanks to capitalism, but that is as stupid as saying that a responsible teacher can't exist or that children can't be properly taught what's right and wrong from their parents. I believe in the idea of great people, or what I call the Caudillo figure, and I believe people should try to regain that trust in responsible figures, even if they have to try hard to become one themselves.
