The Captain Marvel sequel should have had just one Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers. Carol Danvers' memory was taken from her. A subplot should be Carol Danvers trying to remember her past. Maria could tell her that she had a boyfriend. Carol would then meet him, and the romance is rekindled. Interpersonal relationships should be a part of MCU movies especially romantic love, the most pleasurable emotion humans can feel. Fighting should revolve around these interpersonal relationship. The MCU has lost sight of this. That is the reason they are not doing as well as previously. It began with Spiderman: No Way Home. The movie did very well giving the MCU the illusion it was on the right path. Note three Spider-Mans and three Marvels but Spider-Man: No Way Home might have done well because people wanted to see Tom Holland and Zendaya. However, the MCU foolishly broke up Peter and MJ despite them being part of the comic book. In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Dr. Strange should have made the world forget Peter was Spider-Man not the existence of Peter Parker. The romance between Peter and MJ would have continued in following movies. A following movie could touch on MJ's background. The MCU should want the audience to feel the pleasure of romantic love through Peter and MJ.

There are so many things they could have done instead of this mess. And it's budget, clearly they are paying themselves off with Corporate funds. It's criminal.
