I think that's what was intended, but damned if it doesn't come off as more a conservative theme if you think about it.

That's one take. I don't wholly agree.

I think it points out the carelessness of media, nepotism in government, and consumerism of cult-of-personality, and abhorrent hording of raw materials. It paints a picture of what all of us are doing in one form or another, ignoring the things we should do for the benefit of mankind.

I know we should just go by the movies but on this I can't help look at the director and writer. Are we supposed to believe he is secretly based? I agree with your paragraph just the govt is trump's and it's criticizing the media such as foxnews for somehow being too easy on him.

The more I look at Trump the less I like him. If he pulls a 3rd party run in 2024 he will fuck up the election and hand the White House back to the Democrats.
