it's time for me to ride off into the midday sun.

Has a really high opinion of himself, the hero of a spaghetti Western

Dan Dillon, took over

There it is, there's the reason

I always figured I could go on forever working like a maniac

But he noted that he's "not been operationally involved with the Bee for some time now"

This is all quite bittersweet and difficult for me.

AKA: he'd rather avoid being on the fascist side of history

As far as myself, I am going to venture out of my office and back into the world for a bit to see where God leads me. I don't know where that is, but I would not be surprised if we met again somewhere down the road.

How humble, him and God going on a trip

that's how it often goes, making something good, building it up, then cashing out when you want to retire because you can't take it with you. The babylon bee will now get woke, book it.

He knew that and cashed in his stock and rode off into the sunset.

I would cash out and retire also.

Babylon Bee has gone downhill since they canned Ethan Nicole. They still have a few good headlines, but their video stuff is super cringe.
