Yeah so I just saw it.

Basically, the ruling majority destroy the minority rebellion by breaking up their personal relationships and employing divide and rule just like the colonial powers used to. And the oppressors class are the good guys.

I really don't think this is completely accidental. It think the writer just has problems with every side rather than being an idiot.

It's also hilarious a supposedly feminist film is constantly telling everyone they are beautiful all the time. That is a pure lost your soul in Hollywood issue.

I think the movie had a few roadblocks in trying to be what the director envisioned. She probably wanted to make Mattel the villain (just look at their movie representation, it's all old white dudes) but wasn't allowed to since they're funding the movie. The director probably didn't want to include a trans woman Barbie but was forced to. The movie could have a ton of valid interpretations and a lot which are against the director's goals because she was so incompetent.

Overall, truly one of the movies of the year. We can enjoy it for what it is but for me the most entertaining part was she trying to paint particular viewpoints while fumbling the bag very hard. Some even calling it a red-pill movie lol.

    With which parts you disagree?

It's also a good idea to watch Lotus Eaters review but this one used more footage

Nope, you don't have to respond in kind.

          It's your choice.

Don't start that "she made me do it" shit.

I do believe you are a woman judging from our interactions. Yes I understand you not sending pics, I would do the same. It doesn't change my view of you. I do think you have a few lbs up the average so a pic would change my view on that 😁

Holy shit, are you people for real? Why literally everyone so passionate about that plastic bimbo movie?

I always hated Barbie but after seeing how much butthurt this movie caused already, I might actually just watch it after all and even buy some Barbie merchandise. Woke or not. Just to piss off angry manchildren, who are angry about the movie they aren't even target audience of, lol

I love how everybody is like "NO YOU'RE THE ONE WHO'S BUTTHURT!!!"

I know you are but what am I?

It's an entertaining movie. You could wait to see it on the small screen, though.

Also the target audience is adult women like that shoeonhead. It's not a children's film.

Because it's a cultural phenomenon. Barbie is a thing again. Even if the movie is absolute crap I saw a ton of people dressing pink which was so cool. Being released alongside oppenheimer made all the memes and people dressing in suits to see oppenheimer as well.

Maybe you're the butthurt one. You're like the "why are you having fun?" meme. Even if it's a bad movie it's a one people are gonna pay attention to. You can't simply ignore because it doesn't conform to your worldviews.

Also, content creators watch the movie to tell others if they like it or not.

I don't recommend actually watching it on cinema though. Wait for streaming.

Firstly, I'm deeply dissapointed you are again on those misogynist scrotes side, you know that they only hate Barbie movie just because is appealing to girls and women, not because it's a bad or feminist movie(it's not, anyway) Everything female oriented is ALWAYS highly criticized and see as inferior, I don't take seriously opinions and reviews from woman haters.

Also, it's right winger males who are hysterically screeching the loudest to boycott this movie and are extremally pissed at some silly, comedy movie about plastic doll, not me.

I don't recommend actually watching it on cinema though. Wait for streaming.

I see, so it's not really worth the money? Though, I don't own any legal streaming services in my home, so I guess I'll have to just watch it in the "pirate cinema", lol. But im gonna buy something Barbie related to compesate for my piracy.🤓

First mistake. It's not "female oriented" it's feminist oriented. There's a world of difference. And it IS a feminist movie when half the lines are about "the patriarchy this" and "the patriarchy that". Contrary to what you believe, feminist oriented media isn't criticized because people couldn't even care about it. The "big" feminist movie "She Said" got minimal to no attention. The issue people take is woke politics (which includes feminism) invading traditional media that was fine before it got infected with the woke virus. Barbie didn't show its feminism on the trailers because it knew people wouldn't watch it if they knew about it which makes the marketing malicious.

I agree that certain people like Ben Shapiro are reactionaries making videos just to cash in on the "anti-woke" trend. But this video in particular is none of that. Hell this youtuber gives a very moderate take compared to those reactionaries. Whereas someone like Ben Shapiro only gave good points to the set design sh0e praised certain plot points too.

I believe you didn't even watch the video. Yet you share your take here.

Also, it's right winger males who are hysterically screeching the loudest to boycott this movie and are extremally pissed at some silly, comedy movie about plastic doll, not me.

Oh because right wing women don't exist.

From what I understand most people are just mad that a movie rated for kids has problematic viewpoints such as "men and women could never work together" and had misleading marketing about the movie true intentions. Ben Shapiro is a reactionary so his opinion isn't talking seriously by the other more intellectual rightwingers.

Rainbow people are also mad at the movie because it seems to imply the main character only became a woman when she embraced motherhood (which trans women can't do due to lack of utheruses). This movie actually pissed a lot of people off on all sides of the political spectrum.

I see, so it's not really worth the money? Though, I don't own any legal streaming services in my home, so I guess I'll have to just watch it in the "pirate cinema", lol. But im gonna buy something Barbie related to compesate for my piracy.🤓

Yeah, pretty much. That's what I suggest doing.

I don't get if you like the movie or hate it too. I know you're a fan of Ovarit and even those guys had a problem with Barbie lol!
