Pretty sure over half of all comments on Reddit are paid messages from bots.

We have a similar problem here.

Ads, ads, and more ads. One thing I can define my life by - it's been circumscribed by ads of all kinds day and night, most of which I've never had more than the slightest interest in viewing. And now Youtube is cannibalized by ads all over the place, so much so that trying to watch even a one or two second video is impossible. Now they're talking about projecting ads onto the moon as a billboard. Which is just what we need, because otherwise we might grow actual brains and realize all these ads are selling useless stuff to gullible people who can't afford any of it. Way to go, Liberty Mutual.
