It's definitely hidden on Google.

One thing we could do is post links on other social media sites.

Get a saidit named twitter account and just post links to the stuff you like here.

There's the saidit sub reddit as well which could be used the same way.

We could even stretch to a saiditdrama sub on reddit, seeing as the inter-user bitch posts are the most popular thing on this site.

What makes you think the site is shadowbanned? It's a pretty small site. I would be surprised if any content here showed up organically in any Google search.

There was a time when search engines would show a lot of results from small discussion forums but that was back when there were very many independent search engines.

I think the desktop computers empowered ordinary people to create their own news production videos and presentations and the empire of lies did not like that. The touch screen took away the accuracy required for creation and dumbed it all down to a viewer experience.

As bas as Bill Gates was I don't think he'd have let Windows 8 go the way they did to push the phone agenda. He'd most likely make it a blend of 98/XP with a touch of Vista (the good parts) and made sure of compatibility so older Microsoft products would continue to function: IE: Microsoft Home/Kids,etc.

Remember he left Microsoft sometime shortly after XP Service Pack 3. When XP was launched it was a broken mess till then and he quickly forced a fix to make driver's work correctly. Same with 98 when it came out 98FE constantly had BSOD but 98SE quickly came out. Most had upgrade editions. We went from 3.1 to 95 to 98 so if you needed to redo it we had to go all the way back to MS DOS to install 3.1 and work from there.

Speaking about videos and presentations XP was just getting good enough to do powerful things and simple enough elderly people were getting into it. There were computer classes to teach old folks how to use/navigate XP. My grandma started to learn it and then one of our liberal family members took the computer away saying an Apple would fix it and all it did was make things worse. Dad went up to try and help but by that time they (MS) changed everything and nothing worked the way we wanted it to. They were busy killing off older XP machines and Windows 7 was awful for an older person to use as everything was 'hidden'. Control Panel was a nightmare to navigate and still is. I never did like the CP of Win 7 or anything since. At least my Windows 11 is easier on the eys then Win 10 with that awful font.

i'm new to this site...less than a month. I found it via a web search of "alternatives to reddit" or something similar. I immediately noticed the small user interaction and pondered why. Content is on point....similar to VOAT, which is dearly missed.

What was Voat? I heard of it on a Reddit Alt sub but the link was long dead by the time I found it. Why did it die? Too many sickos?

voat was very similar to reddit and sadit. "voat" up/down to increase/decrease topic ranking. It was similar to reddit in its early days(loose moderated boards). voat had leans to conservative/libertarian political views. it was under constant attack(DDoS and other) due to its loosely moderated discussion boards. voat's early members were those initially getting banned by reddit but weren't quite 4chan/pol material(maybe they were but didn't admit it). as reddit banned politically natured subs, voat's member numbers would increase. i can't remember if owner got tired of constant attack or it was banned due to site's content.
