I knew about the main gvid.tv site only. x0x7 is savage and productive.

      And DIY.

Perhaps we can entice him to collaborate and join forces, or at least be a /s/Cassy adjacent associate. Has he contributed to any SaidIt tech stuff?

Nah, I just remember him showing off gvid here. Perpaps, pehaps, perhaps.

[–]reaper527 21 points 21 hours ago Thats not really a reddit thing. Can you name any large website with over a few million users where morons DIDN’T become prominent?

For example, it’s a meme how awful youtube comment sections are. It’s just a “think how dumb the average person is, then remember hald the population is dumber than that” situation.

Any site will need a large memberbase to succeed as a reddit replacement, and large populations come with problems.

YouTube comments are the BEST! What is this moron talking about? The comments are the best part of the YouTube rewind videos.

It depends on the channel. For most small channels, I agree, Youtube comments tend to be awesome since it's usually only the smarter and more dedicated people who bother to comment there. For the large channels with millions of people, they're usually pretty dumb and full of simps, because the crowd begins to match the general public, which is pretty dumb and full of simps.

But yeah, sometimes even the big channels get some good comments.

It does. Their recommendation algorithm looks at comment activity to drive part of the weight behind recommendations. That's why so many creators remind to you "like, subscribe and leave a comment!"

Youtube must have some kind of comment incentive system
