Less a guide and more an extremely broad overview, especially for the "bare metal" option

Not sure why this would be a post. MS is going in pretty hard with linux and they have not hidden the fact their their own kernel is being overhauled for linux. Their kernel has gotten old, bloated, and slow, and linux is not. They full well know they need to adapt and combine linux and windows and take the best out of both if they want to remain competitive. Lastly, they already have bash in windows and are working on being able to run any linux program in windows before they release a MS Linux build.

REAL businesses know where the world is going and REAL tech companies know the future of tech, and are not too proud to pivot. MS traditionally was not that guy, but since taking a beating since Win 8, they have been making steps to better their server line. Desktop line is still BLEH, but steps in the right direction.

Embrace, extend, and extinguish?
