I like the effort, but don't entirely agree with the approach. They're reinventing the wheel by creating a new editor instead of extending existing ones, such as emacs. What if I want to edit text using the keyboard only, or open my editor in a terminal emulator? Then I have to open another editor, but then I can't enjoy the benefits of this program.

What I do like is its simplicity in that it works with a folder of .md files, that lets me create a new atom with the click of a button, and autocompletion for linking to other atoms. In general they seem to be getting their priorities straight, as I see they're working on an publish feature already. And it's good to see people tackling this problem, because it's an aspect which really should've developed more fully by now.

See also TiddlyWiki for a similar, more mature program that lives in the browser.
