"What am I in the eyes of most people - a nonentity, an eccentric, or an unpleasant person - somebody who has no position in society and will never have; in short, the lowest of the low. All right, then - even if that were absolutely true, then I should one day like to show by my work what such an eccentric, such a nobody, has in his heart." - Vincent van Gogh - Loving Vincent - Letter to Theo van Gogh

This was a great, insightful and inspiring film, I really recommend anyone give it a shot. Forget who it's about if the need be, the art, story and message itself make it worth watching and really enjoyable. The films I linked below are also good philosophical "life" films that anyone would enjoy imo.

Rotoscoping is the process of drawing/tracing or painting over each frame of recorded footage, usually done in modern times to give things a surrealistic feel. It isn't done often due to how costly and time consuming it can be, but there are a few films out there that feature it.
