Economically- socialist democratic? I'm generally pro social spending like on universal healthcare and education and stuff. I hate using the term socialism though. My parents grew up under socialism and it was a whole different animal to the stuff the American right claims the left to be, it kinda sucked and was totalitarian for instance, and communism was far far worse.

I don't like where the "progressive" left is going though. Queer theory is totally bananas, and critical race theory is so divisive and basically claims that all white people are white supremacists deep down in their brains. Socially I'd say I'm a liberal and I staunchly agree with many of the ideas that underpin liberal democracies.

I also tend to think that different ideologies and theories will better serve different countries. E.g. a social democracy might work really well in a smaller country, however neo-liberalism might work better in a large country like the USA.

I'm not American, but I think Biden is ok as he seems more centrist than Trump. Would any democrat be against the TRA stuff in this day and age? Anyway, my 2c is that Trump is a full-blown narcissist, and will ultimately polarize people as he has been doing throughout his presidency. He also doesn't seem to handle international affairs well and I think China view him as a destablizing force so they have been flexing their muscles in the South Pacific lately. I suspect Americans will still elect him though because they rarely get rid of a sitting president. However, the document his government (so his policy advisors and lawyers) put together banning racial diversity training was quite well-done, so I won't say that everything the Republican party has done is awful or anything.
