This happens to me all the time. I've rarely been taken seriously when I tell non-lesbians what's been happening to us from within the LGBT community over the years. Fortunately more people are starting to listen lately, probably due to the slight increase in public awareness. But it's still not even close to enough. I have a blog full of hundreds of receipts (mostly credible receipts and not just obvious trolls) on TRA lesbophobia/homophobia/misogyny, and when I show people, they're literally dumbfounded by the absurdity of how this could be happening. It's like it's just TOO cartoonishly evil and their brains can't "click" and accept that this is really happening. They'll say things like "well, just ignore those people! They're obviously wrong and no one is going to take them seriously anyway! Just make friends with other lesbians from now on!" And it's so frustrating because like, we /can't/ ignore this, it's everywhere, don't you get it? In real life too, not just the internet. People with power and influence literally believe this stuff, not just internet weirdos. And thousands of people agree with them. I've encountered it in real life. And it's hard to meet other lesbians since there are almost no lesbian-specific spaces online OR in real life where we can talk about this openly without fear of intense backlash or possibly even violence.

You should make a video of all the receipts you have. Obviously it can’t go on YouTube, but there are other video platforms you could put it on like dailymotion. If people could see what’s actually going on then it could change public opinion.

It would take hours to go through them all lol. For now I'm collecting as many as I can and mostly showing people I know irl. I don't want to draw too much attention to the blog itself yet in case it might get nuked, but I do plan on finding a way to get this shit into more mainstream awareness eventually.
