You argue like a highschool economics teacher. Billionaires never work for every dollar they have. It is impossible.

Value is fixed. Our monetary systems are rigged. There are natural reasons and foundations for our value system, but it is rigged. You can try to argue otherwise, but I have seen it and experienced it. At the end of the day, you play the game by their rules, and you make it. To play the game and win, you'd have to either be 100 % uncorruptible, or you'd have to be ignorant of true morality. You and I don't know of any uncorrupted billionaire. They may exist, but I highly doubt it. The rich moral folks have millions, not billions.

I wouldn't want to be like Elon or Bill, or either of the Michaels. They have no real skills and are so disconnected from reality, it isn't even funny. What horrible examples to try to use.

Is this really your argument? That we need money to make progress? That folks like Bill and Elon are hard workers?

Bull shit. I'm not some liberal bitch, either. My parents are top dog breeders/trainers, we make great money, and we all work very hard.

It sounds like all your material needs are provided by your parents.

I work closely with my family, and take a smaller paycheck than my co-workers, all on my own volition.

Yes, I live with my family and our lives are inter-connected. I am their primary employee. Watch yourself.

There is nothing wrong eating the eggs from their chickens or bathing in the water from their well. I work for it.

Billionaires hate farmers and the tillers of the soil. The war is on the homesteaders.

This is very true. PETA came after us with the help of a State Rep, but nothing can stop happy healthy doggies and those who love em.

No one works for every dollar that have so I don't know what that's got to do with anything.

Workers work for every dollar they own and they get back half of it.

Your style is very combative and condescending here and choose to not play anymore with you.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

I will take your words to heart, and next time we interact, I hope to be less combative.

Nothing I said was wrong though.

Thanks for stepping back for a moment. I didn't want to get into a tit-for-tat. You have a valid point of view that I happen to disagree with from where I stand.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

I only do it with you because you have made comments I have saved and stored. Other users who ask for some quality discussion get my big toe.

[–]Zapped 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Well, thank you.

Thank yourself, Zap. You write good stuff, even if I disagree with you sometimes.

That's why I visit this site; to trade information. I've had my opinions changed once or twice by talking with others here. Maybe I will change my opinion on this subject one day. At least I get to see it from your perspective.

Billionaires don't work for money, that's true, they make money work for them. Christ you jealous little shits are tiresome.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (17 children)

That's not money that's working for them, that's a bunch of "jealous little shits"

Don't be so disconnected from reality, smalls.

That you don't understand even the most BASIC part of capitalism is why you have no right to whine (like a little bitch) about it.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (15 children)

I understand capitalism. It is human illusion, and sure, you can cash in on it, but is an illusion. You propagate their scams for them.

Then you act like there is virtue in that? Fucking laughable.

I work very hard for a couple of capitalists. I make them good money. I know how it works, you old man. My family is doing much better than most. I can tell you, it has done nothing for their minds or their hearts.

I can tell that all that cash did nothing for you but help you escape.

[–]Bigs 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (14 children)

Cash gives you options and freedoms, sure.

Ok, riddle me this, what should a school desk be made from?

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (13 children)

The home dinner table. Fuck school.

Those places are indoctrination stations which kill imagination.

[–]Bigs 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (11 children)

OK, we agree on that part... but what should the home dinner table be made out of?

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (10 children)

Well, the best table I've ever seen in my life was made out of driftwood. Edit: but if I was using any other kind of wood, I'd go with cherry.

[–]Bigs 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (9 children)

Why wood? wood eventually rots, it's a fire-hazard, gets eaten by termites, can be easily carved or marked with graphiti... Wood is a terrible choice!

Let's use aluminium? Light, tough, lasts forever, difficult to mark, it's the obvious choice.

Oh but wait... stainless steel! That's even tougher, even harder to mark, perfect! After all, that's what most professional kitchens use, as it's also easy to sterilize.

So we agree then, all kid's desks should be made of stainless steel, right? Of course it comes in different grades but nothing but the best for our kids, huh? So the highest grade stainless steel it is.

Perfect!

Oy!
