This is old news. If you have N variables and one target variable (e.g. gender identification) and N goes to infinity, the probability that those N variables have zero information about the target variable is essentially zero. So, to answer her question: she likely did not work on many statistics courses and machine learning in university and she likely is a complete ignorant moron, so that would explain it, doesn't it?

The same technology can also be used to figure out likely terrorists, etc. (and because it is possible, it obviously is being used for that as well).

Even if she had been lying under a rock, she could still have heard about Facebook doing that a decade ago (and other companies before Facebook doing that with pregnancies two decades ago).

So, essentially all she announced to the world in this article is how incredibly stupid she is. Good job, Ellie?

wasn't just Netflix. Soon, I had spotted similar recommendations on several platforms. Spotify suggested a playlist it described as "sapphic" - a word to describe women who love women.

After a couple of months on TikTok, I started seeing videos on my feed from bisexual creators.

A few months later, I came to the separate realisation that I myself was bisexual.

Chicken or the egg. Did Netflix really figure out she was bi, or did she become bi based on the bisexual media she consumed. Women are susceptible to social contagion and these shows may have acted as the catalyst. Even affects men, look how many trannies got started watching hypno sissy porn.
