It's a bit moot, as everyone wants their own stories centered. They are the oft advertised face of the movement but I highly doubt they have any real power. HSTS don't tend to, and black transwomen are invariably so, due in part to the aforementioned homophobia in black culture, and- being steeped in actual undignified marginalization, they 'ain't got time' for the misogynistic humiliation fetishes that many white transwomen indulge in.

Sure, there's a lot of sound and fury from this particular subset of trans, but I'll bet if their current figureheads ever seriously went for anything other than being a mere ethnic token for the TRAs they would get kicked to the curb so fast by the actual people in power in favor of the lionization of other "Straight" black transwomen. And there are certainly no shortage of those..

At this point, the Stonewall riots are more akin to mythology than an actual historic event.

I mean, even Marsha declared time and time again they arrived at the event only after the rioting already started, but who cares, right?

Also, this whole "think of the black transwomen" concern trolling is a sham, as most items in the transactivist agenda are geared towards a very white and very middle class audience.

Everyone knows that the main problem that black transwomen face today is prostitution, but these fucks never touch on this topic.

The very white part is so true for the race of people that is blamed for Homophobia/Transphobia/whatother-phobia/ism is on the minds of the cultists today. White people are on the whole very accepting of gender ideology and are probably the most likely people to identify as trans.

Ironically enough despite being the group that can do no wrong you’ll probably find more homophobia in the average Brown or Black Community than the average White one. There are of course exceptions and this is specifically in the west but that is what I would say is the general rule

Adding on to that the risks that a Black Trans-Women would face would more than likely come from other Black people than White people despite what the activists would have us believe

I couldn't have said it better myself.

Whatever these people like it or not, Black communities tend to be way more conservative/traditionalist than the average White population.

This may even be valid for other ethinic groups in the US, like Latinos for example.
