A good start indeed. It was quite insane that they let children, even really young ones make that choice and change their bodies forever in the first place. Now they're at least making them wait, and reflect. I hope other places in the west follow, since if I'm not mistaken places in west are the ones with the problem (I live in one).

Yes...as far as I know having to stop and think first was standard procedure until recent years, at least in my part of the USA. And that was for the adults. Not sure when the experiments on children commenced.
