I think wanting to penetrate women with your penis is liking women in a straight way.

I’m so intrigued that all the guys in the comments are saying, “I hate the stereotype that straight guys are objectifying douchebags. So, instead of being a decent guy who treats my partner like an equal, I’m going to become a caricature of a woman, objectify and fetishize a group of women, and force myself on the one demographic of women who aren’t interested in me.”

How do they think they’re being the good guys while all the other straight guys are toxic?

It's very much a "I'm not like other straight men" kind of vibe.

Also the distrustful part of me thinks it's all part of a potentially predatory tactic to get women to lower their guard and deflect from their own toxic and entitled behaviour by talking about just how awful (other) straight guys are.

I’m inclined to trust your distrustful side. I’ve known a bunch of guys that like to hate on other guys for how awful they are. Four times out of five the guys doing it end up way more fucked up than the average guy. These guys on AL seem to be an even more intense version of that. Instead of working on toxic behaviors and preconceptions, they just say they’re a woman. Not only does it exempt them from actually changing, it prevents anyone from calling them out without getting smeared as a bigot. They get carte blanche to repeatedly do all the things they “hate.”

This is more prevalent than you think. Most men are truly toxic, and they put on shows and deceptions just to get into a woman's pants. Being a "feminist ally" is one common front for this.

Some men truly are feminist allies, but they are rare, and the ones that are allies don't think they're not like other men. They know that all men are inclined to act a certain way, and that their interest in feminism doesn't excuse them from overcoming their masculinity and their conditioning.

A lot like some male feminists.

Seems like it's tied to the idea like "only men can be sexist" so if they call themselves a woman then they can continue to be sexist and claim immunity.

Women can be and often are some of the most sexist people, forcing patriarchy onto the women and girls around them. It's mothers and grandmother's who hold their girl children down and take a razor to their genitals, so she can "remain pure" until she's sold off to a man twice her age, to become his personal sex slave. Patriarchy couldn't survive without it's loyal female handmaidens.

Just another post full of heterosexual men, impersonating women, fetishising lesbians and invading their spaces talking about how toxic heterosexual men are for the way they treat women.

This used to be skit material for comedy shows. Now it's just real life.

If you're still on Reddit, go to r/actuallylesbian. There's a lot less transbian chatter there. r/LesBiGay is also good.

If you're a man sexually attracted to women, you're straight. That's the definition of straight. And fetishizing lesbians doesn't make you a lesbian, just a straight man with a fetish.

I'm surprised that sub exists. Flew under the radar, I guess..

Because the "straight way" of liking girls has a lot of misogyny tied up to it,

Or misogyny is just misogyny and you force connect dots which don't need to be connected.

Thankfully the actual lesbians in that post are disagreeing with him.
