I watched England's women play the US in rugby union and it was certainly something. An 89-0 victory to England with 15 tries scored. It was just complete domination on almost every level, practically every US lineout was stolen, the scrum was the only area where they looked competitive and too many of the tries were scored in a too similar manner, a line break followed by outpacing any defenders with a fairly simple diagonal run. But above all the English team looked about how you'd expect a rugby team to look, like they all had fairly typical physiques for their positions. But the US team just had a few players that you simply can't afford to have at this level, their props looked like men's props from back in the 80s, where all you needed was weight. And their left winger had like no muscle at all, she was tall, but she was a string bean

An 89-0 victory to England

Rugby does not get a lot of interest here in the US. Pity because it's an interesting sport, especially if your opponent shows up, which it sounds like the US team didn't.

Well, they showed up, but wouldn't have affect their score if they hadn't, apparently. Lol

Nope. Reminds me of a few college (American) football games from the past, in which the scores were in the range of 40-0 to 70-0. While that is amusing for a spectator rooting for the winning team, it's also boring and sad.
