It's very prevalent, especially in hobby communities. I'm very active in the cosplay community in the northeast of America, lots of genderspecials. At ConnectiCon, each volunteer that talked to me asked for my pronouns, and there were vendors at each entrance to the con center selling pride flags.

It’s the same in the PNW. Comicon is like a gender special exclusive event at this point, and good luck finding a D&D group that doesn’t cater to this insanity.
