"It’s a private company, so they can do what they want! Unless they are a small, mom and pop bakery, who won’t bake me a specific cake! Then I make it my life’s mission to destroy them!" - the lunatic liberal left.

I dont understand why you would want to give these people your mony. Personally, I would prefer being ejected from their shop for being gay because now I can give my money to and do business with someone who isn't a complete piece of shit. Let them drive customers away and boycott them. Force them to decide what they care about more, don't force them to bake a cake.

It has nothing to do with giving them money and everything to do with control.

Great way to get attention for yourself: Re-target someone who's been all over the news.

Yes, take a court case you lost three years ago at the Supreme Court and try to win it again with an even more conservative court in place. WHAT A GREAT STRATEGY.

I guess some civil rights lawyer wants to buy a new house and needs some of that that corporate LGBTQIA++++ donation cash to pay for it.

i didn't agree then and i still don't with the T's. there are probably a dozen other bakery's that will bake what ever you want, yet, they choose to go to this one when they know they don't like you. if it was me, i would find someone else, i wouldn't want someone who doesn't like me to make any type of food for me, why? because i don't want them putting god knows what in it. this is all for attention and money.

Not sure if you've ever been to Denver metro but yeah.... there are loads of people that would happily bake you a "gay" cake.

In fact, having lived in the area for a while, I'd say that you'll find more self described LG bakeries than you'll find bakeries in that area that would even be uncomfortable and compliant let alone refusal.

Clown world. honk honk.

He may have problems with my sexuality, but I'll give him one thing; he sticks to his guns.

I wish his principles weren't so condemning of me, but I can respect that he has them and leave him alone. I don't agree with him, but I admire the bravery he has to stand up for what he believes. He should have the right to live his life his way; something people are ironically all in on until someone lives in a way they don't like.

my gay friends pilloried me for defending these cake shop scandals back in the day.

this was after we had finally won marriage equality and public sentiment was basically 95% on our side and a random cake shop didnt want to decorate a cake with a same sex couple. I am pretty sure they even agreed to bake he stupid cake but wouldnt decorate it in the specific way.

I would attempt to defend it on legal merits and on the fact that it literally does not harm us in any way. The counter argument was generally "fuck them and their entire livelihood for being against us in any way." Honestly it was like a warning sign. It was like performative rage over some identity tribalism.
