For those not in the know...

Indians often speak English the way the Québec folk speak it. As in fluently, and in every day conversation even with other Indians.

The reason is, there are just so many dialects in India that it's often the only language everyone in an office or home can all speak fluently. You'll see news readers swapping between Hindi and English inside the same sentence.

You're considered to be the Indian version of toothless redneck if you can't speak it.

So yes they'll speak English just fine.
