A sub like that would be a ghost town anyway. They’re only in lesbian subs to feel validated by being in a space for real lesbians.

And yet they still feel so invalidated! They will never find a solution that satisfies them because there is an irresolvable tension between making real lesbians want to stick around, and heavily policing what real lesbians want to discuss because it's invalidating to be reminded that nearly all real lesbians only like real women and not obvious men in frumpy dresses.

Because so much of it is about attractiveness. Listen to MTF (interested in men, so not transbians) stories about transitioning and so many of them have a happy story that's completely centered of them thinking a man wants to fuck them.

Reddit should be abandoned like the sinking ship it long since became.

I wouldn’t ordinarily be so defeatist, especially since the debacle with Parler highlighted how it’s not simply a case of using another platform. But Reddit, and indeed a great deal of social media in general, has become so saturated with dogma, and so trigger happy when it comes to bans and censorship that I’m resigned to thinking it’s best to let them get on with it.

as far as I am concerned, both transbians and non-transgender lesbians should be free to make their own subreddits.
