To be honest, when you're young it is actually really hard to say you're lesbian (this hasn't changed in decades it's depressing). I'm not sure why this is, but I avoided it for a bit.

I know I referred to myself as bisexual for like 5 years despite knowing I would never have sex with a male.

That was 30 years ago when lesbian drew a lot of attention (for some reason bisexual didn't).

Nowadays they've got a lot more shit to deal with, I know plenty of lesbians but they are very low key. Lesbians in general are quite low key, and often lesbian orientated clubs haven't ever been very successful because once coupled up, we are often homebodies.

I think there's plenty of lesbians and wlw but they're probably only disclosing to those they trust. I reckon they probably don't bother with the dating sites, especially HER.

As for me, I don't associate with LGBT anything and haven't for some time. Certainly wouldn't be going to anything LGBT orientated cause all you'll get is a creepy man in a dress hitting on you.
