Real talk, how much has this 'purge of transphobes' (read: homosexuals) been actually successful when it comes to real life and not exclusively online spaces? I do see the odd Transwoman in lesbian spaces every now and again (although the last time I was in a lesbian bar was a year and a half ago) but I still believe most lesbian/ gay/ bi people who are very 'anti-terf' online seem to mostly take the 'TRA in the streets, TERF in the sheets' mentality. It's still hypocrtical and somewhat cowardly but still.

You actually have lesbian spaces where you live? All of ours closed years ago: no lesbian owned bookstores, coffee shops, or bars. We have a few historic gay bars remaining but they hang trans flags on the doors, I’m not sure if it’s just for show so they don’t get shut down or what. It seems like TQ won in our area and pushed out all the homosexuals from places that used to be for them and now lesbians and gay men have to figure out a secret smoke signal to gather without our gender overlords, because once we create a new thing they want to join in and take over.

Yeah, pretty much this. Where I live at least gay/lesbian bars and clubs are disappearing and being replaced by "inclusive" bars and clubs, which are essentially places made by and for straight people. It's kinda funny because I feel like this crowd wanna be so edgy and break all conventions, but at the same time they wanna sanitize the gay/lesbian sexual experience.

Like every bad Hollywood movie and TV show about us from the 1990s.

I'm based in London, we still have one main lesbian bar, they're super woken on their social media though. There are definitely more gay male centric bars than places for lesbians but even they're on tenterhooks as property developers are always trying to get their claws in the buildings.
