Truly grateful for what the mods have done to make sure we could continue with our community and educate those who are trying so hard to damage the LGB community.

They're gonna do it no matter what. They stalk our movement and people, and cannot tolerate that LGB will not fall in line and accept conversion therapy. You don't even wanna know how many ModMails gloating about our ban I've received over on Reddit.

The good thing is, SaidIt has no problem with open speech for all, no matter how controversial. They require mods remove our sub from s/all, and make a clear statement in our sidebar that we will be removing/banning users who present opposing arguments.

We'll gladly accommodate, we did that on Reddit anyway!

You guys are truly super troupers! And I’m aware they’ll continue since it’s a witch-hunt for them. But it’s just the idea of making it aware and having them coming here just to gloat they got us banned. It’s a little unsettling but definitely won’t stop me from letting people in our brother and sister subreddit know.

I don't really like this way of thinking because that's exactly what conspiracy theorist nutjobs say when they're de-platformed for disinformation. I think it's much more accurate to say that transgenderism is basically just another religion that cannot stand up to criticism. And most of Reddit drank the koolaid.

I'm not a big fan. It means that if somebody says bullshit, and people disagree, the only way to show disapproval is to either answer and feed the troll, or have a mod delete the post.

I much prefer that those posts stay undeleted, but that the community shows that they are not welcomed here through downvoting. Much more democratic, no silencing of opposition, etc, but still avoids that the place turns into 4chan.

Let them celebrate. We all know what comes up must come down. They’ve gone up to quickly and soon people will see their fault. Which that does have its down fall, but the LGB have come a long way and will be able to fight for it what we’ve lost.
