They also don't investigate the mental health of people before they poison them with "anti"depressants.

Sometimes life's circumstances are shitty and a "happy pill" can't cure it - or will make it MUCH worse. And they certainly don't warn you enough about it - "Just wait, have faith, and see if it starts working" when clearly you're going down.
