He'll soon be pushing for mandatory digital IDs.

He's a stooge for helping to criminalize privacy.

What's the context here, is he replying to someone?

Many trolls claim that anonymity protects their "free speech." In my experience, which is extensive, anonymity enables psychopathy far more than it frees invisible heroes. Contemptible cowards comprise the overwhelming majority...

Strongly disagree with Dr. Peterson here. The right to remain anonymous is crucial to free and open communication, especially in totalitarian states where you can be jailed for speaking out. The risk of being shunned, cancelled or fired from your job has also silenced many others, something I'd think Peterson himself would understand.

If you're a hammer, everything looks like a nail. Like anything, there are those who have valid reasons and those who abuse systems, including anonymity and the lack of creative solutions.
