SaidIt admins, /u/magnora7 and /u/d3rr, please be neutral and weight in. I feel like one of us needs a course correction.

I'm trying to help him but my technique may be "clumsy" as M7 has stated in the past. I think his motives may be good, but he's not responsive to constructive criticism and may not be able to get off his defensive back foot.

You spoke your peace and tried to be constructive. If he's not biting that's fine, maybe let him be. He's new and doesn't know what you are about. I think this guy has a lot of good info to offer.

Thanks for chipping in. This gives me an out as I don't feel like debating further like this. I'm going to give him space and ignore if necessary.
