I have joined saidit just to feel for free and not bound to any government shit. I respect peoples privacy though. But believe in the freedom of knowledge.

Ok. But the government is not exactly the monolithic tyrant, or even the main oppressor in our society. The oligarchs who used to use government to control people now use corporations. This lets them subvert the laws that protect us from their tyranny. Big tech has captured government, which is supposed to protect us from that.
