Thank you for your response! I agree with your wolf analogy. I don't think most people have a defense for their beliefs or even think very hard about said beliefs. They parrot what their parents told them or what they are told to believe on social media. It's sad really.

I can understand bringing a kid to a protest if you explain what they are protesting and why without giving an opinion. But I do think it's wrong to make a kid hold a sign or be an active participant. It's the same with religion. Its indoctrination and it's wrong.
