The guy who wrote that article doesn't seem to have any background in biology and it doesn't sound like he knows what he's talking about. The human Y chromosome has 50-60 functioning genes that are mostly involved in sperm production. Whereas the X chromosomes have around 800-900 functioning genes each that affect a range of things like immune function, colour vision and mental abilities. Men only having one X chromosome is thought to be the reason why men generally suffer more from infectious diseases, colour blindness and intellectual disabilities. Also, the Y chromosome cannot recombine with the X chromosome during DNA replication like the other chromosome pairs, because the X chromosome would destroy it. Recombination helps to eliminate genetic mutations, which is what this guys really means when he says the Y is 'evolving faster'. And lastly, the X chromosome having more genetic material means that the gap between women and men is similar to the gap between humans and chimps. I don't mean this insultingly, just pointing out that it's silly to pick out something like this and use it to say a sex is less evolved when genetics really can't be simplified like that.

no, you're just talking shit to deny something incredibly simple because you don't like the truth. men and women are vastly different. men have a totally different chromosome to women. within that chromosome is the reason for the dramatic difference. even without this study, you can quite easily show that men are superior and seem to be more evolved than women. this study just confirms that.

So, there are males with XY chromosomes who don't respond to testosterone, and physically develop into apparent females.

It's not skin deep, they have brain development totally standard for heterosexual females.

The genetic differences make zero difference, it's the prenatal hormones. The y chr is a tiny pieces of genetic information and pretty much all it does is make your balls.

Homosexual humans have brains pretty much indistinguishable from each other as a group, and females who have had as enough testosterone to form a pseudo penis have brain development like males until puberty. Even after puberty it's still closer to male normal than a gay males brain.

Short version: your totally wrong about the y chr making any difference at all.

erm i'm pretty sure there is massive difference between a butch lady and a man, or a homo and a girl. you're literally ignoring all of reality and trying to say they're the same based on same vague brain scan, when you can see with your own fucking eyes and life experience that they are different. a homo may be more girly than a straight man, but a faggot is still far different to a woman.

if the huge gulf between men and women was just testosterone then it would be easy as dosing up to get super abilities, or make a woman as smart as a man as you just pretended was possible. instead all it does is make men a bit stronger and aggressive and same for women. there is far more going on than you realise in that little y chromosome, it contains everything that makes a man so mentally superior. but good luck getting modern science to ever admit that.

Average IQ for male and female is the same. There's nothing on the y chr that increases IQ. All the pn testosterone does is swap some of the neuroanatomy over to specialist visual spatial in males. Probably because being able to hit a running animal with a spear was important for male hunters.

First no, the y chr has been thoroughly mapped and there's very little to it. We know what all the genes on it do. No genes for extra intelligence on it. Only one affects brain function in any way at all. It doesn't make extra brain cells.

Second: no it's all down to prenatal testosterone.

Third: the incorrect impression that men had higher IQs came from biasing tests for VS, or not including the special ed groups in tests.

Men make up about 70% of idiots and because of defects on the X chromosome. You are also about 90% of seriously violent criminals. If you omit special ed kids from testing it makes male IQ appear a couple of points higher.

That's talking about differences on the y chr.

It's an extremely small chr, IIRC it's got like one gene on it affecting some neurotransmitter because men are a bit low in it (the second X chr covers that in woman)

Literally the only difference is in sperm and ball related stuff.
