Mostly, it's all pop bullshit, the likes of Taylor Swift and Bieber. You have to be a mega chad or solid 9-10 female to have any chance of getting appreciation on social media platforms.

Rock and roll has become a niche genre for sure. Despite the 90's power groups like Foo Fighters, Muse, and RHCP still going strong. I have managed to find some bands who I followed from regional acts to mainstream....

Foxy Shazam in the early 2010's was one of my most listened to groups, they had minor mainstream success with their front man having even more. Vulfpeck in the mid 2010's has had a decent amount of success, recently sold out Madison Square Garden. Snarky Puppy won a grammy and sells out medium sized venues. More recently Greta Van Fleet. But it's definitely few and far between. Out of those 3, I'd only consider Foxy Shazam to be a true rock band as the other 2 mix many genre.

Outside of mainstream there's a decent amount of bluegrass and folk performers who make a living gigging festivals and shows. Also, Jam Bands still have a dedicated fan base.

I like Tame Impala, the video for his song "the Less I know the Better" is slightly based and black pilled, it shows a teen girl wanting a gorilla and not a regular boy.
