For example I live in the Netherlands and here you get €1050 a month if you have no job. In my scenario, MMA is my biggest hobby right now and I want to leave my elderly house to become more adult and independent.

I could just rent a nice 40m2 one person room/appartment with everything u need included for like €750 a month and I’ll get like a €250 government allowance as long as I don’t make over 21k net a year. I’ll have to pay health insurance which is like €170 a month but you get €100 allowance from the government if you’re poor. You probably have to pay some municipal things like for the weekly trash collectors (you either put your container on the street and they dump the content in a truck or you can throw your trash bags in this kind of underground hole that gets emptied every few days). Those kind of things are like €30 a month max.

You have €450 left and €200 of that goes to food (that’s including the occasional take away). €250 left probably €20 goes to toiletpaper, toothpaste and some other shit u need every month. That’s over €200 left to do whatever u want to with it. You can easily get a gym subscription, MMA subscription (or other sports), Netflix, HBO, go to the cinema, spotify even attend some local sports games (football for example). I absolutely see no reason to work as soon as my 1 year contract ends (i work on the administration department of some pension company). As long as i make sure i have a room/apartment at that point I’ll just apply for government buxx.

I’ll train BJJ for like 6-7 hours a week and 2 hours a week of boxing and hit the gym 4 times a week (2x push, 2x pull/legs) and eat healthy mostly and other than that just consume media and play video games with my friends. If anyone disagrees with wagecucking being 100x worse than NEETing please tell me why.

in Australia it's just less than the amount you need to live by yourself and i really don't want to live with other people. there's not too many 1bdr apartments here and well most of them are taken by couples when there are any so they're almost the same price as your standard 2bdr ones.

the biggest insult is that it is enough to live off if you have a partner also on welfare. so sex havers can live for free if they so choose, whilst singles like me cannot.

Legit the truth. WElfare in CHadstralia is a joke. Especially considering despite what people say, we are actually one of the lowest taxed western countries.

Theres actually a massive growing disparity between rich middle class and poor in our country. To the tune, where if you come from money, you're almost set for life here.

In fact two of the only ways to advance a wealth bracket at the moment are to be top tier in intelligence and opportunities for study, and get a decent banking/finance job. Or deal drugs alongside normal wagie hours.

That’s an absolute joke. Any rich western country that doesn’t have a proper social security net is borderline evil. I see absolutely no reason to work if you’re born in 1990-1995 or later and you’re not at least a high tier normie. You have slim chances to get into a stable pairbonding looksmatch marriage and won’t have a nuclear family (reason number one why society exists and men work). Besides most jobs that don’t give you suicidal thoughts are only for people with good connection or you have to work hard for years to get a CHANCE. Besides, don’t forget a kid playing with toys on his youtube channel makes twice your annual wage in a month. There are only a few reasons to not NEET:

1 Stigma. If u have friends they might be disgusted by it, some normies are truly retarded and here in the netherlands you dont really pick your friends (the friends you make in your youth will always be the only friend group you have). Also family might dislike it.

2 Its temporary. You have to work again eventually (lets say every 6 months), social security department will force u to do some callcenter shit or worse, work in factories if u dont have at least a reasonable iq. So NEETing is normally just something u do in cycles. Whats worse, a comfy marketing/IT job working 32 hrs a week for 12 months, or 6 months NEET+6 months callcenter work where people tell you to die to cancer or scream at u at a daily (assuming u do phonecalls and not chats)?

  1. Might be boring if you dont have friends and hobbies. I have friends and some of them would even understand me when i choose to NEET. I can play videogames with them. Besides, sports are my life. I follow football (soccer), basketball and MMA extensively and some other sports too. I also am a gymcell and train MMA which is my biggest passion. I wouldnt get bored at all from NEETing.

All in all, i would say its better to be NEET. In 10-20 years most jobs will be automated anyway and in 30-50 AI will be so far no one will have to work again. Why bother building a career? Not like you have to provide for a family in a post looksmatch monogamy civilization.

Its probably the best organised country on earth if you only count countries with more than 15 milion citizens. Plenty to do and everything is close. I would say people are friendly and you can speak fluently Dutch within 2 years if you speak fluent English. The languages are pretty close. The dating market is as you would expect, catastrophic for non Chads.

If ur an EU citizen you could just move to the NL. Otherwise u need to get a job and work a few years first.

You underestimate how the future will be like. The amount of people that will have nuclear families will drastically decrease. They also will struggle with their careers as stuff gets automated pretty quickly. People will all be NEETs in the future. Only difference short term (10 years) will be them maybe getting homes and mortgages and ill still live in a rented apartment. Thats about it.

I might start a business one day tho, but wagecucking will never be a thing anymore unless they force me.

well I am against them letting lazy people get free money but especially in certain countries in europe over the last decade there weren't enough good paying jobs in the first place to not need social safety net. One way to help that is limit immigration, so brexit makes sense there. Another thing is to not be cutting the social safety net at a time when people need it most just so you can give bankers bigger bonuses (main reason for bailouts). There is a lot of propaganda, from the rich, designed to make you be against the social safety net and believe in the bootstrap myth. However, a referendum like brexit was always likely to get voted yes on because on the one side is rwers who are against immigration and on the other side are regular joes just trying to make ends meet who rely on things like national healthcare and a pension, and on another side are true leftists who are against neoliberalism, so add that all up and almost everyone supports brexit, besides sjws and limousine liberals. You then have this thread's subject, NEETs who don't want to wage slave, not sure how big a part of it they are, they are unlikely to vote.
