How much these days for a Tesla Model S 1,300 pound battery?

'New tech' = 'battery shock'

Entire new FC stacks don't cost $176k. The article explains that the part that needs replacement is outdated.

It is a hydrogen fuel cell. Not a telsa battery.
It works on hydrogen and not on electricity.
They use it to drive longer distances, but they tech is even more expensive.

they tech is even more expensive.

China: Guangzhou Sets Out Plan for USD 1.4 Billion Fuel Cell Vehicle Industry by 2025. The city aims to establish itself as a leading domestic development and manufacturing hub for FCVs, covering the whole industry chain from core parts to vehicle assembly

It's more expensive because it hasn't been mass produced yet. China is doing that now. The above example is just one province of many. Westerners can watch as they take over the industry.

China is publishing science fiction to attract investors.
Due to their censorship they can only publish good news, even when it is fake.
Example Jet C919

China's propaganda is indeed sometimes as bad as US propaganda.

In the video that you show, the solar energy is creating electricity.
This electricity is converted to hydrogen.
There are different ways to store hydrogen, but they are not that expensive.

To convert hydrogen back to electricity you need some metal that does not breakdown from electricity.
That is usually an expensive noble metal, like palladium or platinum.
That is the part that broke down in the car.

Maybe later versions have ceramic components?
That could make a new version cheaper.

Any guess as to how much platinum is in every single catalytic converter attached to every single new car made in the world?

Toyota and Hyundai are way ahead of this. A search of relevant keywords will be very informative RE: Platinum and Hydrogen Fuel Cells.
