Because reddit was good but now it sucks. Half the users are probably Chinese or Russian bots, another 25% are raging narcissists who feel like they’re more virtuous than anyone and they’re always right, the remaining 25% are good but unless they’re posting some pun or meme answer they’d probably get downvoted to hell. I got sick of sorting by new or controversial to see real convos because the top level responses were garbage.

    Figured it out a long time ago, I tried to go to voat but it turned into a cess pool. Didn't know about saidit until just recently. Now I split my time between saidit and ruqqus and it feels like when I first joined reddit. Community is much better, feels good to have back and forth with real people again.

      Tbh I just sorted by new and replied to the posts title more than anything I didn’t even notice what sub it was in. Perhaps I shouldn’t even be here and I apologize if I’ve stumbled onto something I really shouldn’t be involved in.

      Edit : the mods really should make a description for this sub I don’t even know what it’s purpose is.
