That last link explains the trans movement so beautifully. It made everything fall into place when I read it. It's a pity that people aren't better informed about personality disorders.

That link is also useful when you're thinking about how personality disorders spill over into political "activism."

Because men are biologically programmed to hate and control women. The women on reddit are now under control, they are only allowed to describe womanhood in a way men approve of. Men have always feared women thinking for themselves. Every man, in every country, throughout history. Men believe women were put on Earth to serve men. Beliefs in how a woman should serve men might differ. A right wing man might believe women are obligated to obey their husbands. A left wing man might think women are obligated to make him feel like a woman. But at it's core men are entitled and hate women for not giving them what they want.
The satisfaction a man gets when he beats up a woman for misgendering him is the same satisfaction a taliban gets when he beats up a woman for going to university. Both of them are retribution for the woman who refuses to submit to male control.

Aren't there just as many if not more progressive women who are against you than men? but i guess it's easier and more comfortable for you guys to distort reality any which way you want. And you're progressive women yourselves, so that seems to be why you try so hard to not make other progressive women out to be your opponents even though they are. I dunno you guys just don't make sense... you upvote stuff that makes you feel good... even though it isn't consistent with any reality.

Edit: wait a sec, this isn't gendercritical... what the heck... so why does this comment i replied to sound so much like a gendercritical comment if this is gendercynical?

Many feminists, GC or not, and even women in general think men can be changed. Meaning, men can stop being men (raping, abusing, killing women) and become nonviolent like women. What needs to be done to change men depends on the woman's political or philosophical standpoint. Right wing women think that if men just become god-fearing christians then men will stop being violent. Left wing women think if men embrace socialism then men will stop being violent. And women who are TRA believe that if men accept trans identities then men will stop being violent. None of this is true of course, since christian men, socialist men and TRA men still abuse and kill women.

This idea of changing men is also used to control women. Women, not matter their political affiliation, all want to be safe from male violence. And men dangle this safety in front of women like a carrot to get her to do what he wants. Right wing men tell women if they're good loyal christian wives they'll be safe from male violence. Left wing men tell women if they help the socialist party get in power she'll be safe from male violence. And TRAs tell women if they just believe TWAW then she'll be safe from male violence. Haven't you heard this reasoning yourself from TRAs? That if everyone just accepted TWAW then female oppression would just magically vanish. But men can't change. Men are just as violent no matter their beliefs or their view of transpeople. Women want to blame male violence on politics, religion, upbringing, transphobia to avoid facing the real reason for male violence: Maleness.

Many GC women are guilty of the same denial about men. They think it's transgenderism that makes these men hate women so violently. It's not. It's the fact that they're men, and men hate women.

women in general think men can be changed.

Women get married hoping that the man will change.

Men get married hoping that the woman won't change.

Both are wrong almost all the time.

I would like to think that not all men are violent women hating rapists.

Totally true. Women hate, hate,HATE each other, especially in places like corporate America, where the attention of Successful Men is important.

You're not on reddit now, mate. As long as this sub is showing on s/all, you can't stop us posting here. You want to talk about gender? We'll talk but you won't like what we have to say about it. A man is a man, no matter what he wears.

This post was a question directed at this particular community and subsaidit... someone giving an answer from a different community and different perspective seems out of place.

[–]MakeAOCBartendAgain 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

Women are programmed to be childish, petulant rulers of men who will fucking ruin your life if they don't get their way. "Happy Wife! Happy Life!" is an example of this insidious garbage that insinuates women are just children. A better one - "No Wife! Happy Life!".

Men have been conditioned to think they aren't complete without a woman but it's completely false. Women are generally horrific decision makers, terrible with money and work to create drama in their otherwise boring lives. It's best to avoid marriage altogether if you're a man, unless you're some sort of masochist who wants to lose half his property & $$$ to a woman when she decides to fuck the pool boy while you're at work.

"Behind every successful man, there's a woman!" .... yeah, spending his money.
"Behind every hot woman is a man tired of having sex with her."

[–][deleted] 9 insightful - 5 fun9 insightful - 4 fun10 insightful - 5 fun -  (1 child)

That's some incel logic right there. If you hate women that much, date trans.

[–]MakeAOCBartendAgain 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

women are fun to date and fuck. Dealing with their drama and fiscal irresponsibility on a daily basis? No thanks.

[–]motionlessoracle 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I can see we are approaching a similar problem in different ways.

Women are happiest when they do not marry.

[–]MakeAOCBartendAgain 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Women are happiest when they do not marry.

then they have much in common with me! Though single motherhood is horrible for children and is usually only possible with $$$ from the father.

[–]Susiesmum 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Isn't there an incel sub you should be posting on?

[–]MakeAOCBartendAgain 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

not an incel. Am happily divorced lol. Never again. it's best to just date and have sex. Women always cross their legs and close their mouths when they get married. No thanks!

[–]happysmash27 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Wow! That is… very sexist.

Men have always feared women thinking for themselves. Every man, in every country, throughout history.

I am biologically male, and do not fear this. Everyone should think for themselves; I do not care which group they are in.

Men believe women were put on Earth to serve men.

I also do not believe this. I believe that all people are pretty much equal, regardless of sex/gender, race, etc.

A right wing man might believe women are obligated to obey their husbands. A left wing man might think women are obligated to make him feel like a woman.

No one is obligated to do anything, except perhaps to not actively harm others through, say, violence. You can disagree with trans people if you want, but other people in other locations also have a right to do what they want, and you have a right to not go to them. Basically, what I am saying is that I am libertarian about transgenderism: do what you want, and you can create a safe space for any side if you want. My preferred solution in the case of bathrooms: individual bathrooms instead of gendered ones. That way, no problems can occur within the same gender either. But you can do your preferred solution for them too, if you prefer.

But at it's core men are entitled and hate women for not giving them what they want.

I do not truly hate anyone, not even the person that stole my old phone and destroyed it, and especially do not hate blanket groups like "women". I oppose discrimination based on factors that people do not have control over.

The satisfaction a man gets when he beats up a woman for misgendering him

I do hope most trans women do not do that, but can't be sure (I do not have the statistics on it). Beating up people is not at all the solution to this. I prefer debate and disapproval of people's actions to violence, especially for an infraction as relatively minor as misgendering. A person offending someone is not grounds to beat them up. That is extremist, though an extremism that may be worryingly prevalent.

Because reddit was good but now it sucks. Half the users are probably Chinese or Russian bots, another 25% are raging narcissists who feel like they’re more virtuous than anyone and they’re always right, the remaining 25% are good but unless they’re posting some pun or meme answer they’d probably get downvoted to hell. I got sick of sorting by new or controversial to see real convos because the top level responses were garbage.

Now I split my time between saidit and ruqqus and it feels like when I first joined reddit. Community is much better, feels good to have back and forth with real people again.

Tbh I just sorted by new and replied to the posts title more than anything I didn’t even notice what sub it was in. Perhaps I shouldn’t even be here and I apologize if I’ve stumbled onto something I really shouldn’t be involved in.

Edit : the mods really should make a description for this sub I don’t even know what it’s purpose is.

      [–][deleted] 12 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 0 fun13 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Pretty sure the OP is directly addressing the question to Trans Rights Advocates who founded the old Reddit group r/GenderCynical. FWIW.

ETA -- r/GenderCynical didn't need to migrate to SaidIt. Its members ensured that all opinions contrary to their TRA ethos were silenced on Reddit, and corresponding subs banned. They currently have absolute free range on Reddit.

So. Why did they migrate here?

      [–][deleted] 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Because they can't spy on our message boards unless they have accounts with saidit... isn't that what's going on right now? People can't just search threads on google?

      [–]happysmash27 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Maybe some people from GenderCynical actually liked free speech instead of censorship, and still wanted to be able to debate without their opponents being silenced? It is pretty hard to change someone's opinion when they can't clarify what their opinion actually is, and what reasons they have it.

Or, perhaps some people here migrated here for reasons unrelated to this sub, and decided to create this sub to counteract all the anti-trans rhetoric that wasn't getting much resistance.

I personally believe in trans rights, but have also been censored for many of my other opinions unrelated to that, and even in the realm of trans rights, on most of Reddit's LGBTQ+ subs, I worry that there may be bias due to hardly being able to question the narrative at all. For example, I believe the concept of an "egg" is very dubious, while still considering trans women and trans men to be women and men. I have not heard of this sub until now, but if it is an uncensored sub critiquing GenderCritical, think I may join it.

      [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

      It's not.

It's censored, censorious, intolerant (despite being populated by the tolerant left), and full of vitriolic people with small lives that exercise that one tiny modicum of power they have to feel empowered in thier otherwise impotent anger.

      Though you knew that already.

I also think this OP cutenoobies here has right to free speech, and of course though some will ask why is he asking why some people came here, why does that matter, well it is a good question to ask in a civil disagreement, the answer may lead to one group realizing they were wrong about something, maybe not. Though it would be different if instead of just asking a question this sub here was outright banned, luckily that is not likely to happen I don't think.

Doesn't change the fact it's more than strange a "why don't you just stay on Reddit" post gains traction organically on Saidit.

Lets see what the admins will say after they analyze the upvote patterns.

Because it's on the front page! SaidIt shows all subs by default unless they exclude themselves from /r/all. Personally, this is the first time I've found this sub, and I am curious what it is about.

Reddit banned every favorite sub I had. Some of them were debate subs, others tried to talk about news and issues which others left out. Why the fuck they would even ban r/european or r/whitepillcafe ? Reddit is ultra-safespace equality cesspool which dumps down everything to a level of sterility where most of human emotions are seen problematic and offences deemed banworthy. Disagree with something? Ban! Question ruling narrative? Ban!

I'm so fucking done with that shit. Reddit is shit, and people who don't mind being herded into one political box are shit.

I didn't believe that r/European would be banned until I checked right now. I didn't see anything on a DDG search about why it was banned. Any insight? Or was it just a "whiteness is inherently violent, so we are banning violence by banning white subs" kind of thing.
