So disappointed. I've always loved her advice.

I stopped reading her blog when she had someone write casually complaining about having to work at a Harry Potter event as a public librarian because "the author has revealed herself as a transphobic bigot". She didn't allow any pushback or attempts to set the record straigh in the comments; all it took was someone to claim J.K. Rowling was a "transphobic bigot" and context be damned, that became the gospel truth. Very upsetting, but not entirely surprising.

This is exactly how the lies about Rowling continue to be perpetuated. Make a false claim, make it continuously and aggressively, and don't allow any criticism or discussion of what Rowling actually said.

Disgusting. Shame on this handmaiden.
