This exact scenario happened to me a few months ago, but the friendship was already in the process of deteriorating because I felt he was basically in a cult now, even before the non-binary nonsense. I never expressed my concerns beyond testing the waters out of fear of professional retaliation (he did not respond kindly to my testing the waters, to say the least). It sucks because this person means a lot to me, and has been there forever basically. But it’s like losing someone to a cult, as another poster said.

I went through something similar with a friend who thinks he’s a woman now. I’m 99% sure all of these friends think I’m a closeted trans man in denial anyway, so I’ve decided that I need new ones.

These are crazy times. No advice, I guess, just commiseration. Good luck, OP.
