That's my take on it. Sony screwed the pooch the whole way. Hello Games is a tiny studio and Sony put them out there with a AAA treatment.

They had a concert, appearances on late night tv, everything. I'm sure as an indie studio it was exciting for them (until the flood), but Sony just saw the $$$ to be made in hype.

also the guy shouldn't have lied, you only have your word once in life, even if sony tells you to lie, refuse.
