For people who may not be following this, the notable thing is that the black fake samurai who is the star of this game seems de-emphasized in this composition of this cover/poster. They are apparently catching on, far too late, how much everyone hates the concept.

A black man killing asians, omg... you have to wonder how anyone thought that was a good idea to begin with, but then they ignored all the criticism and did it anyways.... wild.

I remember reading about this. I guess Ubisoft found some documents showing a black man lived in feudal Japan and spent about a year among samurai (I think he was doing clerical work) before leaving and never being heard of again. Apparently this is what they based the character on. (That is if you believe the internet...)
